rapidity, efficiency, safety also the cost. An important characteristic of Gilsonit that make it noteworthy for drilling fluid
usages is softening-point temperature. In addition, there are many types of drilling fluid systems includes: water base, oil base,
stable foam and air or gas base muds. In water-based muds, it uses as shale-stabilizing additive. It`s difficult to evaluate
unless tested at or above its softening point. In oil-base muds, it uses as a Fluid Loss Control (FLC) agent.
