COCONUT CHARCOAL

Coconut is well-known for a tropical fruit. That all the parts of the coconut are made full use: The water, kernel of the coconut is used as a drink and the coconut shell is utilized to make fuel. That kind of fuel has become increasingly popular because the coconut charcoal is environmentally-friendly, highly caloric and reasonable.

2. The manufacturing process

The raw material zone is Ben Tre, Vietnam, the homeland of coconut. After the coconut water and kernel are removed for food and drinks, the coconut shell is left and collected as the source of material for the fuel production.

If coconut shells from the coconut manufacturing bases were not utilized to produce charcoal, they would be left as a huge dump of waste. However, thanks to the applications in fuel industry, coconut shells become economical, friendly products, bringing higher income for farmers.

2. Carbonize the coconut shell:

The carbonization requires a limited supply of air so that there is neither unburned shell nor ash due to the complete combustion.

When the coconut shell is well carbonized, the drum is then cooled for about 8hours.

After the burning process, the charcoal will be in large form. It is milled to be at required size

The product is packed in the PP bags, 25kg per each.
