For charcoal production we use exclusively hardwood.
The chopped wood sits in the heap (bunch), lighted up and burned with fire smoldering. The volume of a heap is generally 160 m3.
Before firing, the heap is covered with wood chips and soil. The burning time is approx. 14 to 16 days.
The charcoal is burned out, and cooled down in closed metal boiler, isolated, without oxygen.
