Product Description

White Petroleum jelly is made by the waxy petroleum material that formed on oil rigs and distilling it. The lighter and thinner oil-based products make up petroleum jelly, also known as white petrolatum or simply as petrolatum.

White or almost white, translucent, soft unctuous mass, slightly fluorescent in daylight when melted.

Practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in methylene chloride, practically insoluble in ethanol (96%) and in glycerol.
