Synthetic Base Oil

Available in viscosity ranges between 150 to 1000 cSt at 100°C, SpectraSyn Ultra High VI PAO (polyalphaolefins) feature:

• High viscosity indices  
• Low pour points  
• Low traction  
• Good air release  
• Low foaming tendency

Their high viscosity indices deliver improved flow at low temperatures¹ and increased elastohydro-dynamic lubricant film thickness at high temperatures. Can also impart greater viscoelasticity when blended with lower viscosity base stocks.

Synthetic Oil is frequently combined with other base stocks to obtain optimal viscometric properties for a variety of lubricant products. It is particularly suited for passenger car and heavy-duty diesel engine oils that require improved wear protection.

It also can be used to develop more efficient automotive gear and transmission oil products² , or in conjunction with lower viscosity fluids to achieve a wide range of high viscosity index industrial products.
