Common USES of aluminum-based compound grease:

1) lubrication of wheel hub bearing: in general vehicle speed and road conditions, the load and temperature of wheel hub bearing are not high, mainly due to the heat generated by bearing rotation friction. However, in downhill, poor road conditions in mountainous areas or bumpy road sections, or when the speed is too fast to brake, the friction heat of the brake drum will be transmitted to the bearing, adding extra temperature to the hub bearing, so the grease needs to have excellent high temperature performance. High temperatures and large temperature variations may occur. Grease that is not adapted to high temperatures may leak. The commonly used types of automobile hub bearings include lithium base grease, compound lithium base grease, polyurea grease and compound aluminum base grease.

2) lubrication of mechanical parts in manufacturing industry: compound aluminum base grease can be used for lubrication of machine parts, and compound aluminum base grease has good water resistance, the water resistance of grease in industrial production is very important. In addition, the compound aluminum-based thickener is also suitable for preparing food-grade greases, and can be used with food-grade additives and base oils to produce food-grade compound aluminum-based greases.

3) steel metallurgical equipment lubrication: steel metallurgical industry equipment is generally facing high temperature, wet working conditions, extreme pressure type composite aluminum base grease is suitable for the requirements of this kind of working conditions, because the composite aluminum base grease has good cryogenic pumping, centralized lubrication for easy transmission, but also has the advantages of high temperature resistance, water resistance. In addition, the compound aluminum base grease also has a special property: high temperature reversibility. That is, it cools down at a high temperature, and the consistency stays steady. This is not found in other grease, so the composite aluminum base grease can maintain a relatively stable consistency in temperature changes, coupled with good water resistance, so that the composite aluminum base grease has a good leak-proof ability, suitable for the lubrication of steel metallurgical equipment.

4) Marine trailer: due to the good water resistance of composite aluminum base grease, the use of composite aluminum base grease is suitable for Marine trailer, which can be used for the lubrication of trailer hub bearing and trailer bolt hook.

5) rubber and plastics industry: compound aluminum-based grease can be used for the lubrication of mixer, which can meet the working conditions of high temperature, humidity and contact with corrosive gases of mixer.

6) textile machinery: almost all places where lubricating grease is used in the textile industry can use compound aluminum-based grease. The compound aluminum-based grease can stick firmly to the bearing, and good water resistance can play a better sealing effect, and can reduce the possibility of cloth contamination by grease.

7) agricultural machinery and construction machinery: on these machinery, composite aluminum base can be used as a general grease, most of the grease can be used in the place of composite aluminum base grease, with good rust resistance and water resistance function.

 Advantages of compound aluminum-based grease:

1) water resistance: as long as the formula is reasonable, the compound aluminum-based grease has a very good waterproof ability, whether in the bearing or the surface of flat parts, the compound aluminum-based grease shows a good ability to resist water erosion, which is very important, because the industrial application, water resistance is very important. Although there are differences in the water resistance of different aluminized grease, the water resistance of aluminized grease is generally the best among general purpose grease. After contact with water, the shear stability of the compound alloy-based lipid decreases slightly, but not significantly.

2) heat resistance: composite aluminum-based grease has good high temperature resistance, and the drop point is generally between 232℃ and 246℃. Therefore, the temperature is higher than that of ordinary lithium grease (not composite lithium grease).

For high temperature grease, high drop point ≠ high temperature performance, high drop point is only a necessary condition. At high temperature, the grease should be subjected to mechanical and high temperature shearing. At high temperature, the grease should have good thermal stability and oxidation resistance. If the temperature goes up and down, the grease is more challenging. Some high temperature grease may have unstable performance during the high and low temperature alternating process. The factors that affect the high temperature characteristics of grease are of course determined by the base oil, thickener and additive of grease. Because the composite aluminum based thickener not only has high drop point, but also has special high temperature reversibility. High temperature reversibility is that after the use site is heated and cooled, the compound aluminum base grease can still restore good gel structure, which is not the advantage of lithium base grease.

3) cryogenic pumping performance: the soap fiber of composite aluminum base grease is thin and short, and it has strong thickening ability to mineral oil, so the soap content is small, the oil content is high, easy to cryogenic pumping, so it is suitable for centralized lubrication system
